WHAT AM I READING NOW? 004 | HISTORICAL FICTION BOOK WITH A FACT VS FICTION TWIST OF HEART & HOME

Denise Wilbanks: So what am I reading now? Four clues. You guess. Clue Number One would be… Spider towers. And I’m not talking about towers that look
like spiders. I’m talking about towers built by spiders,
which when I say it sounds like pretty amazing. I mean this book has got a big science theme. There’s science all over it. But do I want them in my house? That’s a big no. And then… Clue Number Two. Maddening home repairs. And I’m not talking about just crazy. I’m talking about raise that notch up to another
level. I’m talking Winchester House, maddening home
repairs. Completely overwhelming and hopeless. I hate to say it. Yeah. And… Clue Number Three. The ability to adapt in a new environment. A new stage of life. A new thought process. And we all know the end of this scenario. People or things or beings that are willing
to adapt, who is going to survive? Fill in the blank. And then the Fourth Clue… Which is one of my favorite… This is one of my favorite things in the book
is the decision of choosing to believe what you want to hear as opposed to what is true. And when those things maybe aren’t in alignment
with each other and what that choice might be depending upon the situation. So anyway, let’s summarize. Clue Number One. Spider towers. Clue Number Two. Maddening home repairs. Not just crazy, maddening. Three. Ability to adapt. And Four. Choosing to believe what you want to hear
as opposed to what is true. Any guesses? What do you think I’m reading today? Um, maybe…

  1. Your voice is lovely! I’m a huge reader myself, but usually drawn more to non-fiction, so great to hear some good fiction recommendations β™₯️
