So, “This Is My Song” is a book in three parts. The book actually arose from a trip to PragueI took in 2014 when I visited the Jewish Synagogue there and saw the tribute to the Holocaust
victims. In particular, I was emotionally moved by
the drawings done by children in Theresienstadt ghetto, outside of Prague. That, I guess, triggered the thought in my
head about what actually goes on inter-generationally when people have had significant traumas in
their lives. How does that affect not just them, but their
children, and their children’s children?
