Let It Go — American Sign Language Interpretation

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight Not a footprint to be seen A kingdom of isolation And it looks like I’m the queen The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried Don’t let them in, don’t let them see Be the good girl you always have to be Conceal, don’t feel, Don’t let them know Well, now they know Let it go, Let it go, Can’t hold it back anymore Let it go, Let it go, Turn away and slam the door I don’t care what they’re going to say Let the storm rage on, The cold never bothered me anyway. It’s funny how some distance Makes everything seem small And the fears that once controlled me Can’t get to me at all It’s time to see what I can do, To test the limits and break through No right, no wrong, no rules for me I’m free! Let it go, Let it go, Let it go, I am one with the wind and sky Let it go, Let it go, You’ll never see me cry Here I stand, and here I’ll stay Let the storm rage on My power flurries through the air into the ground, My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around, And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast I’m never going back, The past is in the past Let it go, Let it go, And I’ll rise like the break of dawn Let it go, Let it go, That perfect girl is gone Here I stand in the light of day Let the storm rage on The cold never bothered me anyway.

  1. I've been learning ASL, and I love the language. and I really like watching my favorite songs being signed. and it's really cool to see signs I recognize and learn new ones! Thanks for making these videos!

  2. I like this song ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖

  3. I have hearing loss, so I have hearing aids. I see that you guys do too. when I saw this, I got SO excited. A few weeks ago, I started learning ASL. I am SO excited. I want to see more of your videos. 😀

  4. Obviously NOT deaf! See their lips moving! If you are lips syncing you are not using true ASL! Maybe PSE, but NOT ASL! Sine English or any spoken language can't be used at the same time as ASL. This is sim-com.

  5. Woah nice ten and keenly I have a brother irl he's a austic child I think that's what there called am trying to learn Sign language to

  6. No, PSE is not a type of ASL. It is a use of signs by hearing & hard of hearing who are handicapped from learning ASL because of teachers who claim they know ASL when they don't. How do I know this? My son is Deaf. I raised him with SEE because I was told he'd learn English with that. WRONG! The Deaf I know who've learned English are the Deaf who had true ASL first, which then allowed them to learn a second language.
PSE & SEE are not languages. They are transliterational systems. Sigh. Attend a Deaf Studies conference. You'll have your eyes opened!

  7. Awesome loved it! I have been wanting to learn ASL for awhile now and intend to this spring. I would love to as a test translate a song, of course I know it is more difficult than it looks as one needs to take on the emotion of the song their translating and let the music and beat move through you. Otherwise it will be a very boring dead song. The two of you keep up the great work, for it not only means a lot to those who are deaf or hard of hearing but is educational to those of us who are wanting to learn ASL to help others.

  8. Oh please make on of Do you want to build a snowman frozen I have a wee one that is learning Asl but you two seem to be the best!

  9. Great vid. I'm impressed with the way you lip-synch the sung English while signing ASL. You've basically memorized 2 separate scripts and are performing them both at the same time. Very impressive:-)

  10. A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. I suggest you ask a Deaf ASL teacher & Phd, Dr. Don Grushkin. He will tell you this is not ASL!

  11. This was lovely! I just started learning ASL, and this is a great way to explore it! Thanks! PS What state was this filmed in? It looks like the Northeast.

  12. I showed this to my cousin and she loved it. Her smile was the biggest I had ever seen on her. She's watched it for the 8th time on repeat and she's signing away with the song. Her singing is beautiful to watch.

  13. Krista W., I ask you to let me put this before my Deaf intellectual friends. Just because somebody claims to teach ASL doesn't mean they really are teaching it right. Please go to Dr. Don Grushkin's channel & watch some of his videos on the subject.

  14. Even my deaf son who was raised with sim com & SEE doesn't truly understand the structure of ASL. Many think they do but they need to go to Gallaudet and take courses in it from a Deaf teacher like MJ Bienvenu to realize their errors.

  15. This is amazing. I simply cannot describe how the deaf community is so strong and they do not give up on life. They can do anything! Im so proud of all of you. Nyle DiMarco introduced me to all of this. First from America's next top model, then with his movies and Dancing with the stars. You guys are amazing and dont let anyone tell you otherwise! So much love!

  16. my little one thinks this video is beautiful. it's because of this video she wants to learn sign language so she can be like the two of you.

  17. i think that Elsa would be way cooler (no bad pun intended)if she spoke ASL,but she would also have been way more dangerous when she lost the control of her power, i can perfectly imagine the chaos the kingdome would have been if it was the case XD

  18. LOVE LOVE!! I am a self taught ASL learner and my 11 year old and I have been doing it together. i took 1 semester in college and fell in love, would love to become an interpreter. I have taught myself songs and this is my goal to learn this one!! AMAZING JOB!!

  19. I really enjoyed this, but I can hear and know what is being said. For a deaf person you need to be sure the whole sign is seen, it is like saying half a word and going to the next word. And for those trying to learn the song they have to guess at the whole sign being used. Interpreter, Audrey Neild

  22. Good ASL video. Aside from that this song I was thinking of after discussing with my girl Janis Underwood of Amarillo, TX of in the future of how we'll have sex with each other when we're married somewhere along the line. "Let It Go" from the movie Frozen. I just wish that I knew some of the lyrics to this song when it comes to me and my girl Janis, herself of Amarillo, TX "Let Them/Me Go"

  23. I just noticed there actually singing! it sounds exactly like the sound track… they are excellent at singing and hopefully signing too..
I'm learning to sign PSE and ASL at the same time. it's slow n I'm having mel function's with retaining words. any advice on this will help tons!..
