Jim Levine, Principal at Levine Greenberg Rostan Literary Agency

In my view, negotiation
is something that I am doing not in my job
but every minute of my life. I think negotiation is
something you do with your kids. It’s really trying to
reach a set of common goals without making the perfect
the enemy of the good. I guess what I’ve learned along
the way is there is no perfect. There is often the good. And if we can listen
to one another and try to identify the
areas in which we most agree, we can be successful in
pretty much everything we do.
